Yesterday, I wrote about my thoughts on keeping a journal. I think it’s time for me to share my secret in journal keeping. Actually, it’s not really a secret that will make your jaw drop or what but since it works for me, I hope it will work for you too. If you are a writer, I think you don’t need this advice from this newbie. I always have a high respect towards writers and I really admire them since they are one of the most hardworking people I know in their own way. So if you are like me, an aspiring writer and struggling to be faithful in keeping a journal, stay here and journey with me in my journal adventure.
I’ve found out that I easily get tired when I intend to write a long entry. If I just keep my journal entries short, I can keep on doing it the next time. Maybe, if I do this here in blogging, I can keep on blogging now that I can be online for more than 70 days. Starting today, I’ll just keep on writing. Be it a trial-and-error adventure. I’m not trying to become like George Orwell or Paulo Coelho in writing (though it’s nice if I am them but that wouldn’t be me). By my hits and misses, I’ll discover on the way who Allen really is and how he writes. I’ll just keep on doing it until I become constant and faithful to my journal writing.
Until next time.
hello, Allen… salamat sa dalaw, ha… glad to know you’re back. hope to read more of your writings, mag-aabang me, ahaha. warm regards, kapatid… π
