Good News: I Passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET)!

Coming back from an unplanned hiatus for more than two months, I am now back!

Last time, I posted about my preparation for the LET review last March 20. I took the exam 9 days after. Then the following day fly to Mindanao for a short vacation. After 38 working days (according to PRC), we’ll get the results. Yes, it took them 8 days longer than the target date (May 15) because of our number (100,740 examinees). Yes, that’s how plenty the aspiring teachers are yet we still have shortage of them in our schools! Actually, that’s just the tip of the iceberg but I’m not here to discuss that. Maybe later.

And the result? It went online last May 23, Saturday, when I was about to go to the airport and fetch the newly professed Marist Brothers from the novitiate and some new scholastics. Just wearing basketball shorts and soccer jersey on my way to NAIA, I finally learned that yes, I’m now a licensed teacher!

But still, I’m looking where I could practice my craft.
