The book that changed my life

I can’t really think of something to write about so I searched for some topic suggestions from  The Daily Post and I stumbled on this topic: Name a book that changed my life.

The first book that came to my mind was The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery.

Back in high school, I have a  big problem: I don’t like reading books. And I realized that I can’t survive school without reading books.

As a pep talk for us who are not into reading, our teacher even encouraged us by saying that it wouldn’t take much of your time in reading it.

So I decided to start by borrowing this small book from our school library.

One day, I suddenly woke up in the middle of my sleep. And as I look at the clock, it was just 3 o’clock a.m. To do something that will make me sleepy, I grabbed the book and decided to read it.

I was not able to get back to my sleep because I ended up finishing the book in two hours. It was catchy, illustrated, and entertaining.

It became my first baby step in reading books that starting from that novella, I am now hooked in reading books!

This book is my starting point.

Books are transforming me; it expands my interests, educates me, inspires me when I’m down, and it keeps on changing my perspective in life.

I now realized that one good book can transform the entire life of a boy.
